TYPES OF MOUNTS: Inside mounted shades will be adjusted based on the window width and height to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame. The deduction is approximately 0.4" for the width and 0.25" for the height. A minimum frame depth of 2 inches is required for secure installation of inside mounted shades. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, outside mount is recommended. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area to be covered, as they are used when there is insufficient frame depth for inside mounting. All shades come with mounting hardware for both inside and outside mounts.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: First, measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and use it as the inside width when ordering. Next, measure the height at the left, middle, and right side. Again, record the smallest measurement for the height when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Measure the outside frame width adding 3-6 inches to determine the outside mount width. Then, measure the outside frame length adding 4-6 inches to determine the outside mount length. The recommended overlap ensures proper coverage and prevents light gaps.
