TYPES OF MOUNTING: Blinds that are mounted inside the window frame will have a deduction of approximately 3/8" to ensure a proper fit. To securely install inside mounted blinds, a minimum frame depth of 2 inches is required. If your window frame depth is less than 2 inches, it is recommended to choose an outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered to cover the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are typically used when there is not enough frame depth for inside mounting. Our blinds come with all the necessary mounting hardware for both inside and outside mounting.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the inside frame width at three locations - top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and use that number as your inside width when placing an order. Step 2: Measure the height at three locations - left, middle, and right side. Record the smallest measurement and use that number as your inside height when ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1: Measure the outside frame width and add 3-6 inches to determine the outside mount width. Step 2: Measure the outside frame length and add 4-6 inches to determine the outside mount length. It is recommended to have some overlap for proper coverage and to prevent any light gaps.

ORDER CONFIRMATION: Once you have chosen the color, proceed to the "Customize Now" page and follow the instructions to complete custom options. We will double-check the order information and require a reply to the confirmation email within 48 hours of placing the order. If we do not receive a response, the shades will be made in the size you ordered.

INSIDE MOUNTING: Custom width available from 12 to 206 inches and custom length from 16 to 157 inches. Measure the width and length inside the window frame and select these dimensions when placing your order. We will make the necessary deductions to ensure a proper fit. Window depth should be at least 13 inches for inside mounting, otherwise, choose an outside mount.

OUTSIDE MOUNTING: Measure the outer frame width and length of the window. Add 3-10 inches to both dimensions to determine the required shade size. Select the exact window shade size you want to cover when placing your order. No deductions will be made for outside mounts.
