MOUNT TYPES: Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2 inches for secure installation. A deduction of approximately 0.4" on the window width and 0.25" on the window height will be taken to ensure a proper fit. If the window frame depth is less than 2 inches, outside mount is recommended. Outside mounted shades should have the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are used when there isn't enough frame depth for inside mounting. All mounting hardware is included for both inside and outside mount options.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement when ordering. Step 2. Measure the height at the left, middle, and right sides. Use the smallest measurement for ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width and add 3-6 inches to get the outside mount width. Step 2. Measure the outside frame length and add 4-6 inches for the outside mount length. The overlap is recommended for proper coverage and to avoid light gaps.
